Third time is a charm!
Welcome to Week 3! I hope you are getting into the swing of things with the Scrapnfun Summer Soiree!
You all are doing a fantastic job getting your layouts completed & shared with me within the week! Yahoo! And, if you haven't been able to do that, it's okay - you can still complete the layouts which count towards the "Grand Prize of Do All 20"!
Click on the images below and right click to Save Image As, which will save to your desktop. Then you can print. Let me know if you need assistance with this process.
Don't forget to keep track of applicable points on your Tracking Sheet.
Week 3 - Challenge 1
This week, we are visiting the Creative Memories Archives of Virtual Crop Sketches. Did you realize that Virtual Crops & Sketches have been released since April 2020? This sketch is a double page layout from the June 2020 Virtual Crop. It could easily be rotated 90 degrees, too!
It does not have measurements on it, which will drive some of you batty! For those of you that fall into that category, I am including my interpretation of what might work on this layout; this is off the top of my head and is guesstimates (possibly not to scale). 😄
- For the trapezoids, 3.5 x 12 inch strip - cut off center vertically to get (but not on the diagonal) to get the squared opposite end. It could be 4 inches but I don't think it's quite that big.
- Photos appear to be 4x6, both horizontal & vertical. If using photo mats, I would make mats 4x6 and trim down photos to be 3.75 x 5.57 or 4.5 x 5.5.
- Journal box looks to be 4x2 or 4 x 1.5.
- Embellishments can be whatever you would like them to be.

Week 3 - Challenge 2
The second challenge for this week is a Project Recipe from April 2017. It featured the Woodland Whimsy Collection (which was released at that time). Give this old PR new life - it even includes measurements! Note that there is a fun border element spanning the middle of both sides; you can use border punches (a little larger), BMC borders (a little smaller) or border stickers. So many options!
If you prefer to download the pdf of the Project Recipe, it is included after the jpg's.
